+ Collect and analyze data to derive key insights from a full range of digital marketing activities. Synthesize findings and recommend "the next step", whether it be more in-depth analysis, experimental designs & testing, integration of additional measurement techniques, etc.
+ Derive insights from the analysis of various digital data sources and present findings to a senior executive audience. The ideal candidate will have extremely strong presentation and business writing skills and proven experience communicating to senior, non-analyst stakeholders.
+ Exhibit a high level of expertise in driving the data strategy across multiple data inputs - web sites, surveys, testing, CRM systems, personalization, market research, etc.
+ Povide support to multiple business unit web sites and conduct analysis across all facets of the decision making platform - clickstream

analysis, outcomes analysis, search analysis, multivariate testing analysis, personalization.
+ Support the analytics needs of a client by analyzing web traffic using clickstream tools such as Omniture, Webtrends, HBX, Google Analytics, etc.
+ Collaborate with external partners, third-parties, and internal teams to implement and optimize data collection and reporting.
+ Use past experience with business intelligence tools, such as Brio, Business Objects, SAS/EG, or SQL, to derive in-depth analysis and data insights.
+ Partner outside the company to stay current with best practices in metrics and decision making and ensure they are being recommended to clients core web site decision makers.
+ Design the technical implementation of tagging on the web site to collect web site metrics

using Omniture, Google Analytics, or other enterprise analytics tools.

Typical deliverables

+ Generate top-tier recommendations for optimizing site architecture, optimizing URL structures and patterns for maximized indexing and keyword relevancy
+ Conduct analysis to identify further optimization opportunities for each of our clients on a monthly basis
+ Develop strategies that leverage web 2.0, social networking, user generated content and PR efforts to drive qualified traffic
+ Manage deliverables, reporting, strategy implementation and all direct communications with internal IT department, analysts, marketing staff and the executive team
+ Follow up on status of SEO recommendations for all clients, provide implementation reviews/feedback

+ Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, verbal and written, across multiple clients on a weekly and/or monthly basis. Written communication should be extremely clear and suitable for C-Level management.
+ Conduct deep-dive analysis of the performance of key business digital assets on a weekly and/or monthly basis.
+ Lead the implementation of the measurement strategy across a complex digital ecosystem and in multiple channels - search, social, mobile, traditional web and interactive, and offline.
+ Conduct regular analysis of web site behavior and customer experience.
+ Forecast and implement regression-based techniques for time-series data sets.
+ Collaborate with the Analytics Director to define a predictive analytics strategy for the digital channel.

+ Execute data consolidation and validation activities.
+ Synthesize business requirements from multiple sources within the client organization including product managers, development teams, and functional group members.
+ Develop further documentation of existing processes and bring forth suggestions to improve and optimize.
+ Design and implement multivariate and A/B testing analysis and documentation - conduct research to establish hypotheses, influence interaction and creative with data and analysis, define success metrics, criteria and targets, design and implement testing methodology, and conduct post test analysis.

Knowledge / Background / Experience

+ Five to seven years cumulative digital or web analytics experience.
+ Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
+ At least three to four years working with standard clickstream analysis tools: Omniture, ClickTracks, WebTrends, HBX, CoreMetrics etc.
+ Two years of experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research.
+ Three to five years of experience using the Microsoft Office suite with very strong Excel skills.
+ Three to five years of business analysis experience in large size companies with multiple functions/business units preferred.
+ Strong math background with experience in statistical analysis.
+ Mid-level expertise

in search engine marketing (SEM)/ pay per click (PPC) and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies, and a minimum one year experience measuring the success of SEM/PPC and SEO campaigns/efforts.
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
+ Other analyst experience and advanced mathematical skills may be considered in lieu of more experience with web analytics tools.
+ Project management skills, business process redesign principles, tools and techniques a plus.
+ Expertise with business intelligence tools a plus.

+ Using strong analytical skills, provides insights as well as recommendations for change, and convinces key client decision makers of business benefits of the proposed solutions.
+ Identifies and drives requirements trade-offs by proposing solutions to client leadership.

+ Handles multiple tasks, switches priorities and focuses as needed.
+ Collaborates on creation of project plan and tasks for the team.
