Andreas Roell

Board Chairman & CEO, Geary Group

Andreas Roell is the Chairman and CEO of Geary Group, a holding company providing next generation digital marketing services.

Geary Group is comprised of Geary Interactive, a full service digital marketing agency; MatrixMT, a premium SEO services company; and Geary PMG, an elite lead generation firm. Together they afford performance driven clients the perfect marketing solution. Roell co-founded Geary Interactive in 2000, which expanded into Geary Group in 2010; Roell is responsible for the company’s long term corporate strategy. Under his leadership Geary Group has established itself as one of the nation’s largest independent digital marketing service providers.

A member of the American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) board of directors, Roell is one of the youngest AAF Silver Medal recipients for his contributions to the advertising community. Before his role on the board of directors, Roell served as a governor of the AAF's Southwestern Region and as a member of the IAB’s (Interactive Advertising Bureau) online lead generation board.

Roell is an active angel investor who functions as an advisor to early stage technology companies and actively pursues his charitable interests through active involvements in organizations like Mainly Mozart and Make-a-Wish Foundation.

An online advertising veteran for over a decade, Roell was a co-founder and chief web strategist for Prime Player, the Internet’s first portal for sports participation. Roell was responsible for the development of website strategy, including revenue stream establishment and usability configuration, as well as web initiatives and strategic partnerships with companies such as ESPN and HealthSouth.

Roell is a native of Karlsruhe, Germany where he played soccer professionally. He received his Bachelor in International Business from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and his Master's in Business Administration magna cum laude from the University of San Diego.

Tim Warder

General Manager, Geary Interactive

Tim Warder brings more than twenty years of strategic thinking and expertise in marketing, operations and IT to Geary's executive management team. Throughout his career, Warder has held senior leadership roles for US and international professional services firms.

Before joining Geary, Warder held a similar position at Proxicom/iCrossing. He also worked for Cambridge Technology Partners in their management consulting business.

Warder began his career with extensive branding work for internationally known advertising agencies Fallon and Campbell-Mithun, where he managed strategic branding projects for global clients.

Kevin Hawke

General Manager, Outsourcing

Kevin Hawke oversees and streamlines all operations to ensure that the entire Geary team produces the highest quality services for clients. Hawke was previously Director of Account Services where he served as the liaison between clients and Geary's internal departments.

A ten year veteran of the interactive industry, Hawke has worked with a long list of influential clients including the Gillette Corporation, Campbell Soup Company, Nestle Corporation, Sony Pictures Digital, and Intuit TurboTax.

Hawke supports and contributes to his profession through memberships at the San Diego Ad Club and the Interactive Advertising Bureau's Digital Video Committee. Hawke received his Bachelor's degree from Long Beach State University.

Doug Ruhl

Vice President, Business Development

Doug Ruhl is VP of Business Development for Geary Interactive. He brings more than 10 years of marketing and technology experience to clients looking to grow their digital footprint. Understanding the market and how all the piece fit, Ruhl identifies opportunities for brands to enhance their effectiveness. He is passionate about bringing the right solutions and the most talented team to bear on all our client's objectives.

Ruhl previously led the business development team in strategic vertical markets at iCrossing as well as Proxicom. Ruhl is based in Chicago and attended Iowa State University where he studied Political Science, but believes education is a life long journey.

Michael P. Lindmark

Michael Lindmark serves as Geary Group Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of MatrixMT. As CFO, Lindmark oversees the day-to-day accounting and finance activities, planning and budgeting, treasury, legal and contracts for the company. Lindmark’s responsibilities as Managing Director of Geary Group’s MatrixMT division include driving its corporate strategy and managing company operations.

His broad background spans both finance and operations positions, in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. Prior to Geary, Lindmark served as Regional Director of Accounting for Memec, LLC, where he directed the finance operations for the company’s Americas regions.

Lindmark holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of San Diego and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.

John McKusick

John McKusick is Executive Vice President and co-founder of Geary Interactive. A talented creative and industry veteran, McKusick built Geary's creative, technology, and search marketing departments. He currently leads Geary's Performance Marketing Group.

Over his thirteen years of design experience, McKusick has garnered more than forty design awards and won praise as an interactive expert and pioneer. His determination stems from a passion for the digital world and the influence it has over behavioral change.

As an innovative thinker, McKusick inspires clients and colleagues to create engaging experiences that generate responses.

McKusick has managed projects for clients such as General Mills, Nixon, TRUMP, and Kyocera. He studied at Point Loma University and the Advertising Arts College in San Diego. McKusick was awarded Top Chief Technology Officer in San Diego from the San Diego Business Journal and is a frequent nationwide speaker.

McKusick is also a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), American Advertising Federation (AAF), and the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).

Liza Boyd

Board Member & Managing Director, Constellation Ventures

Liza Boyd brings more than ten years of venture capital and investment banking experience to her role as Managing Director of Constellation Ventures. She is responsible for initiating, evaluating and structuring transactions in the software and services sectors. Boyd focuses on companies offering web services, security technology, online marketing technologies and enterprise software. She has worked extensively with her portfolio companies to navigate IT networks and has assisted them in garnering contracts.

Boyd also currently serves on the Boards of Widevine Technologies, Siperian, Avolent and Orchestria. Boyd began her career at First Union as an Investment Banker.

Charles Del Grande

Managing Director, Presido Merchant Partners, LLC

Charles DelGrande is a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division of Presidio Merchant Partners LLC. As founder and head of Presidio Merchant Partner's Media/Technology and Real Estate Services groups, DelGrande assists companies in a variety of sectors including Web 2.0, search engine optimization and marketing, online services, business services and media/communications. A twenty five year strategy veteran, Delgrande provides leading firms with senior-level financial and strategic advisory capabilities.

Delgrande started Proxicom's e-business consulting Midwest office and Global Strategy Consulting practice. He was also a part of the integration team after Proxicom was acquired by Dimension Data in 2001. Delgrande has a proven track record of creating, building, and guiding investments and is a frequent expert speaker in real estate information services and new media sectors.

Jim McKusick

President and Owner, Geary Company

McKusick began his career at Geary Company in 1979 in the areas of new business and account management. Over the years he gained valuable experience in stints as creative director and media manager. His experience in marketing, advertising and communications includes gaming, hotel, resort, automotive, communications, commercial and residential real estate, professional sports and a long list of retail categories.

A native Las Vegan since 1962, McKusick graduated from Las Vegas High School and got his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

He also played Division I NCAA Soccer for the Rebels.

McKuisck's community involvement has included Community Lutheran Church, American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, Muscular Dystrophy Association, American Land Conservancy campaign to save Mount Charleston, coaching Little League Baseball, Girls Softball and Board Member for the Las Vegas Premier Soccer Club.

Mark Twain once remarked, "Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest." This is McKusick's motto for life and for business.

Michael Mack

Board Member, Geary Group
CEO, Garden Fresh Corp.

Michael P. Mack co-founded Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp. in 1983 after identifying untapped growth potential in Souplantation, a two unit restaurant concept established five years earlier. Under his leadership, the company maintained steady growth through the 1980’s, financed through four rounds of Venture Capital.

Prior to Garden Fresh, from 1977 to 1983, Mack worked for Bain & Company, a management-consulting firm, where he specialized in the development and implementation of business strategies. He received a Sc.B. from Brown University and a M.B.A. from Harvard.

Michael is a member of the Advisory Board for the University of San Diego School of Busines.

Ken Potashner

Board Member, Geary Group
Board Chairman, Newport Group

Ken Potashner has extensive public and private company CEO and BOD level experience. He has served on several public boards and is currently the Chairman of Newport Corporation with revenues in excess of $400M. He was also CEO and Chairman of Sonicblue and Maxwell Technologies. He has extensive merger and acquisition experience as well as substantial international involvements.

Potashner graduated from Lafayette College with a B.S.E.E. and earned his M.S.E.E from Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, Texas. He completed the Columbia University Executive Program and the International Management Executive Program at IMEDE in Lausanne, Switzerland.
