John Wynn

Director, Strategy and Business Partnership

As Director of Strategy and Business Partnerships, John Wynn works closely with prospective clients as they consider the service offerings of Geary Interactive. His 10 years of experience provides a unique bridge between business development and digital marketing concepts and strategies.

Before coming to Geary Interactive, Wynn served as Vice President, New Business for SolutionSet, a nationally recognized multichannel direct marketing agency. Over the course of his tenure at SolutionSet, Wynn helped prospective clients form response driven programs against direct marketing, loyalty, CRM, and digital objectives. Clients that have benefited from Wynn’s support include adidas,

amazon.com, American Express, Brown Shoe Company, Cintas, KeyBank, Nautilus and Safeway Foods.

Wynn also served as the Principal Director for the San Francisco office of Publicis Groupe, a global advertising and media conglomerate.

Sarah Kotlova

Vice President, Strategy and Client Development

Sarah Kotlova is Vice President of Strategy and Client Services for Geary Interactive and a specialist in interactive marketing. She creates user-centric cultures for her agency and clients, bringing the voice of the customer in impactful ways into each marketing and advertising decision. Her objective: to change the universe one user interaction at a time.

Sarah builds brands and business online for Geary clients such as WD-40, Intel Classmate PC, OAG (Official Airline Guide), Covad, and Philosophy. Prior to joining Geary, Sarah was an Account Director for Whittmanhart in Los Angeles and Philadelphia, where her clients included Kellogg’s Special K, Johnson and

Johnson (REMICADE (infliximab) and K-Y), Anheuser-Busch), Epson, Avery, State of California Tobacco Free CA program, Guidant and Kashi.

When she can drag herself away from the computer, she also enjoys travel.

Beth Newman

Brand Strategy Director

Newman comes to Geary Interactive with more than 15 years of advertising and marketing experience. As a Brand Strategy Director, Newman designs digital roadmaps that align client business goals with consumer affinities and marketing trends. Her ability to translate corporate objectives into holistic insights and marketing programs serves client ROI and consumer engagement.

Working with agencies like Grey Worldwide, Zimmerman Advertising, Kaplan Thaler Group, and the non-profit Sesame Workshop, Newman has extensive experience developing and implementing cohesive brand strategies and a deep understanding of the key household decision-maker – the woman.

With significant work in the financial services, health and beauty, pharmaceutical and CPG categories, her client experience ranges from Chase Manhattan, US Bank to Pfizer; Revlon, Allergan to Sesame Workshop and ConAgra Foods.

Newman will be working out of Manhattan, NY to lead Geary’s clients on the East Coast.

Grant Reinero

Creative Director

As Geary Interactive’s Creative Director, Grant Reinero guides the creative direction of client campaigns and supervises project management. Joining Geary in 2006, Grant also directs all branding initiatives and works cooperatively with the senior art director on client projects and creative development.

Previously working with brands like Virgin and American Eagle, Grant brings an innovative perspective that is forged into all of Geary’s creative projects. Entering the advertising arena at a dynamic, pivotal time, Grant adapts to emerging trends and consistently generates impeccable work.

Understanding that all marketing plans demand an online component, Grant’s traditional agency experience bridges the tried and true techniques of old with the cutting edge advancements of today.

Nick McLain

Brand Strategy Director

Nick has been driving innovation in B2B and B2C marketing strategy for more than eight years, and brings a strong systems-based approach for creating effective and accountable advertising campaigns to Geary Interactive. Nick has extensive experience in interactive marketing and analytics, including user interface and information architecture design for websites, organic search optimization and paid search placement strategy.

Most recently, Nick lead the development and execution of global advertising campaigns for clients such as Microsoft, TOMS Shoes and Modern Amusement clothing at McCann Erickson in San Francisco, CA. At McCann, he managed fully-integrated projects ranging from traditional print and video, to web-based

portals and ecommerce sites.

Prior to joining McCann, Nick worked as a Consultant with CXO Communication, a boutique brand messaging and strategy firm in Palo Alto, CA. While at CXO, Nick developed messaging architectures for clients including Sterling Commerce (AT&T), Sophos, and Mooney Airplanes. Nick got his start in the Bay Area as a Vertical Manager at QuinStreet, a top-rated global online direct marketing company based in Foster City, CA. At QuinStreet, Nick was responsible for the creation and management of an entirely new B2B category where he built and managed interactive marketing programs for clients including Nortel Networks, Intuit and Sage Software.

In addition to being an avid backpacker, solo hiking the John Muir Trail in 2007, Nick spends most winters in Lake Tahoe searching the trees for fresh powder. He is a musician at heart, and works on carving out time to write better songs.

Nick earned his B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin.
